Hancock Group Employees and Associates Foundation Awards Scholarship to Amara Jackson
We are thrilled to announce that the Hancock Group Employees and Associates Foundation has awarded our 2025 scholarship to Amara Jackson during the Annual Central Pennsylvania Community Foundation Luncheon, which took place at the Blair County Convention Center. Amara was one of 116 exceptional students honored with scholarships from various foundations within our community.
As a soon-to-be graduate of Tyrone Area High School, Amara is set to begin her journey at Penn State Altoona, where she will pursue a degree in Business Administration/Management. We extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Amara as she embarks on this exciting new chapter in her academic career!
Since its inception on November 11, 2003, the Hancock Group, Inc. proudly led the way as the first employee group to establish a Charitable Foundation with the Central Pennsylvania Community Foundation. To date, our foundation has awarded a total of 41 scholarships to deserving high school students pursuing their college aspirations. We have distributed over $56,000 to support scholarships, fund valuable projects for non-profit organizations, and honor the memories of our clients and friends. This success is made possible through the generous contributions from our employees and associates via fundraising initiatives and payroll deductions.
